Over the last 4 years, Birmingham Education Partnership have been exemplary leaders in recognising the intrinsic value that the Arts play towards school improvement, teacher development and the life and learning of our young people.
In line with our CPD programs, Primary Arts Peer Review, and bespoke consultancy service for schools around arts, culture and creativity, we are seeking to update our contacts of artists and practitioners willing and available to work with Birmingham Schools.
In particular we would like to hear from independent arts practitioners and smaller organisations who are able to co-plan with teachers towards teaching and learning objectives and school improvement drives; and are able to offer flexible small scale partnerships and experiences from 1 - 3 days.
Our key areas of interest are:
Visual Art
Drama
Dance
Design Tech and Craft
IT / New Media
Photography and Film Making
Installation and display
Fashion and Textiles
Creativity (facilitating and unlocking creativity through arts, activities and workshops).
Sketchbooks and Innovative Journalling
Architecture (built environment appreciation linking to topic).
