Children's Workshop Proposals for Family Festival, Whirlow Hall Farm: Open Call
Deadline: Sun 31 Mar 2019
We are a children's charity which uses farm-based learning to reengage children with learning who otherwise struggle to thrive in mainstream educational settings. We are looking for proposals from artists in a range of disciplines to provide arts-based workshops for our family festival in August 2019 based on our farm in Sheffield.

Proposals might include the following: Arts and Craft / Dance / Acting / Film Makin / Interactive Education.

We work with some of the most vulnerable young people in South Yorkshire and all of our events are primarily fundraisers for our education work. If you are willing to offer any reductions on your workshop rates with this in mind it would be greatly appreciated.

Our family festival will take place on 24-25 August 2019. We have a strong legacy of delivering events for families on our farm. We expect children of all ages to attend our event. We are looking for workshop facilitators who can deliver sessions on one or either of the days proposed.

In order for your proposal to be considered please ensure that you outline the following:
Which age group your workshop is aimed at
How many participants can engage in each workshop and how many workshops are included in your quote
Your availability 24-25th August
A price quote for both one or two days (as applicable)
A  description of your workshop (what will be learnt, how long will it be, do the participants get anything to take home?)
Relevant experience (i.e. where have you run this or similar workshops in the past)
What requirements do you have for the space the workshop will be run in?
Would you require additional volunteer helpers on the day and if so how many per session?

The quote for your workshop must be inclusive of all costs, staffing and materials that your workshop will need to run. All facilitators must have Public Liability insurance that covers their activities and will be asked to provide a copy upon booking.

Please email siane@whirlowhallfarm.org if you have any questions and with details of your proposal.

Deadline: 31st March 2019
