Creative Writing Tutor (for adults), Didcot Writers
Deadline: Thu 25 Apr 2019
We are looking for new tutors to lead one-off or series of workshops for the group. Workshops usually take place on Wednesday or Thursday evenings, though half- or full days at weekends are also a possibility.

Based in Didcot, just south of Oxford, Didcot Writers is a community group with over 120 active members, and almost 600 further participants in the UK and around the world. We run workshops, competitions, socials, writing days, and have published three anthologies (two in print).

We usually have 10-20 people (all adults, of varying experience) attending each workshop. Past topics include different forms of writing (short stories, novel-writing, poetry), different genres (sci-fi, mystery writing, biography), or practical subjects such as editing and publication.

Tutors are paid an hourly rate of £25 per hour (ie, £50 for each evening workshop).

If you would be interested in teaching for us, please email Alice at didcotwriters@gmail.com with details of your experience and/or qualifications in creative writing and/or tutoring adults, topics you would like to tutor, and whether these would be one-off workshops (2 hours), a series of 3-5 workshops, or a half/full day workshop.

This is a rolling opportunity, so please apply asap, and applications will be assessed as they come in.

Deadline: 25th April 2019
