Director of Creative Learning, Southbank Centre

Southbank Centre is the UK’s largest arts centre, presenting a broad programme covering classical and contemporary music, art, performance, dance, literature, festivals and talks. We are now looking for a strategic, passionate and innovative individual for the new role of Director of Creative Learning.

This is a hugely exciting opportunity to shape and deliver an inspiring and dynamic new model for creative learning at the UK’s largest arts centre.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working at a senior level in an educational capacity in an arts organisation, with substantial experience of strategic development of innovative learning and participation programmes on a local and national level.

They will have a good understanding of the education system and experience of working with schools, and of Southbank Centre’s audiences and potential audiences, stakeholders and communities.

They will be a skilled leader with a passion for developing high performing teams and will have advanced presentation, negotiating and interpersonal skills across audiences from the widest diversity of backgrounds.
