Festival Intern, Cambridge Literary Festival

A part-time Festival Intern is required to support the Cambridge Literary Festival team on the administration, marketing and delivery of our Winter Festival. The position will provide the perfect opportunity for somebody keen to get into arts management and to gain hands-on experience in a busy events office.

The position requires a flexible and energetic person with excellent IT and organisational skills. Knowledge of Excel spreadsheets is essential. The successful candidate will be required to have great people skills and be eager to support the Festival team in a variety of capacities.

The successful candidate will be required to work three days per week, with the possibility of extra days in the run-up to our Winter Festival. The Intern must be available to work during our Festival dates on Friday 29, Saturday 30 November and Sunday 1 December 2019.

Specific duties include:

Inputting data from event forms and Festival lists.
Liaising with publicists and agents.
Publicity and programme distribution.
Creating backdrop slides and materials for the Festival weekend.
Writing copy for e-bulletins, press releases and social media.
Assisting the Festival Manager in the delivery of the Festival.
Supporting the Festival team.

Part-time, min. 3 days per week. National Living Wage.
