Festival Intern, VERVE Poetry & Spoken Word Festival

VERVE Poetry Festival are contracting a part-time, festival intern to help prepare and run events. Whether you are a student, graduate or someone making a career change, this position is intended for individuals who are trying to get started with their career in the arts.

We aim to provide a holistic experience of running an arts festival so your role will involve working across all departments and with all members of the team.

Contract: Part-Time
Commitment: 2 days/week, full time the week of the festival (7th – 11th September)
Start Date: 11th July 2022
End Date: 30th September 2022
Rate: £80/day

We strongly encourage BAME, neurodivergent, disabled, LGBTQ+ & working-class applicants to apply. Priority shall be given to applicants from the West Midlands Metropolitan Area (Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall & Wolverhampton).
