Freelance Marketing Manager (maternity cover), Ministry of Stories
Deadline: Wed 19 Jun 2019
Ministry of Stories (MoS) exists to champion the writer in every child. We are a creative writing and mentoring centre for young people age 8 – 18 in east London. Our current freelance Marketing Manager is going on maternity leave and we are looking for an ambitious, organised and experienced individual who can deliver the key projects we have planned for 2019/20.
The lead project is to deliver a significant website refresh. You will also lead and champion our master communications plan and ensure this is an integral part of our long-term planning.
New tasks will include developing all marketing aspects of our 10th Birthday celebrations and creating a new, engaged ‘address book’ through which MoS can secure press and wider media coverage.
This is the perfect role for a talented freelance Marketing Manager who is looking to get some key projects under their belt in a short time, as part of a supportive and enthusiastic team. Your project management and relationship building skills will be essential to deliver the requirements of this busy role in 2 days/week.
Ministry of Stories was co-founded in 2010 by author Nick Hornby and has since supported thousands of children through creative writing workshops. Under the leadership of our new Director and heading towards our 10th birthday, this is a great time to join the team and make your mark across the breadth of our marketing and communications work.
