We are seeking an experienced creative writing teacher, with a sound industry background, to join our evolving team. The successful individual will be practised in teaching a wide-range of creative writing techniques including, but not limited to, Fiction, Poetry, Creative Non-fiction and Scriptwriting, within the higher education sector. The individual will contribute or lead on the delivery and assessment of various units at all levels, depending on areas of specialism and experience.
You should have a grounding in or knowledge of a range of writing forms, styles and genres, as well as an understanding of creative and critical theory. The ability to develop students’ awareness of the publishing industry is highly desirable as is the ability to contribute to the support of students’ pastoral needs. A developing publication profile is also highly desirable.
