Lecturer/Senior Lecturer or L/SL Practitioner - Creative Writing or Publishing, Anglia Ruskin University
Deadline: Sun 5 Jun 2022
The Cambridge School of Creative Industries at Anglia Ruskin University is seeking to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer or Lecturer Practitioner/Senior Lecturer Practitioner in either Creative Writing or Publishing.
We have recently added a new undergraduate Single Honours degree in Creative Writing to complement established provision of joint degrees with English Literature and Film. Teaching responsibilities are likely to be on both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
The post in Creative Writing is to strengthen the teaching team as the new degree begins in September 2022, and to contribute to our MA in Creative Writing. For this position, an ability to teach Science Fiction and Fantasy writing would be an advantage.
We are also looking to re-new a post-graduate course in Publishing, which would run alongside the MA course in Creative Writing. The alternative appointment may therefore be in Publishing, with experience of course management and curriculum design desirable attributes.
Applicants able to teach across both Creative Writing and Publishing may be at an advantage but we also welcome applications from specialists in one of these topic areas.
All applicants must have experience within Higher Education or as practitioners within the creative writing or the publishing industry.
