Shakespeare’s Globe is a unique international resource dedicated to the exploration of Shakespeare's work and the playhouses for which he wrote, through the connected means of performance and education.  Together, the Globe Theatre, Globe Exhibition & Tour and Globe Education seek to further the experience and international understanding of the dramatic arts in all its forms, but principally in relation to Shakespeare in performance.

We are currently seeking a Librarian to work within the Globe Education department.

The successful candidate will have previous librarianship experience, preferably in an academic institution, and a knowledge of cataloguing software packages with an interest in Shakespeare and/or Theatre; they will have demonstrable ability to use and adapt to evolving library software and tools. An understanding of research methodologies, skills and copyright legislation and the ability to effectively communicate these to library users is essential.
