Outreach Worker - Lanchester Interactive Archive Project, Coventry University
Deadline: Tue 2 Oct 2018
Coventry University is seeking two part-time outreach workers to support the development and delivery of the outreach programme for the Lanchester Interactive Archive, co-funded by Coventry University and the Heritage Lottery Fund.

Working within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, and the dedicated Lanchester Interactive Archive space within the Lanchester Library building, the posts, funded to end of April 2019, will bring to life the amazing archive and achievements of Dr Frederick Lanchester (1868-1946), one of Britain's greatest engineers and inventors.

The outreach posts will work within and supplement an existing project team, working to develop audiences and deliver content that bring his legacy to life, through a comprehensive programme of outreach work that will engage people in his inventions, encourage them to use the archive resources, and inspire them to be creative.

This is an opportunity to be part of a flexible innovative working environment, delivering an exciting project to a wide range of participants across the city and beyond, focusing on a local genius, whose inventions still impact on our world today, and whose ideas can inspire future generations of creators, inventors and engineers.
