Reader Leader, The Reader

We are looking for experienced and resilient individuals who can work in challenging criminal justice settings including prisons and probation hostels. You will be required to facilitate weekly shared reading groups in order to promote reading, well-being and good mental health.
In addition, you will be expected to take an active role and interest in the core business of The Reader which includes training others in shared reading techniques, communicating the work of The Reader effectively and fundraising.
Reporting to: PIPE’s People and Projects Manager.
The delivery of the reading groups will take place in HMYOI Swinfen Hall.
Fixed Term Contract, ending 31st March 2019. Hours: 0.25 FTE/8.75 hours per week. Salary: £17,000 - £22,000 per annum, pro rata
