Do you want to transform lives through reading & writing? Scottish Book Trust, a national charity, is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced manager to provide maternity cover for the strategic development, design and delivery of our Government-funded attainment programmes: Read Write Count and First Minister’s Reading Challenge.
Our School Communities team delivers projects which encourage children and young people to read and write for pleasure. They include book gifting, author touring and events, book prizes and awards for learning professionals, as well as creating high quality resources and professional development for teachers.
Are you:
• An exceptional organiser with experience of setting up and managing complex delivery contracts, including distribution and logistics • Skilled at developing and managing high profile external stakeholder relations • An experienced manager who knows how to lead and motivate a team, as well as coach excellent performance in individual staff members
This is a full time (35 hours per week) fixed term contract for 9-12 months (maternity cover).
Salary - £28,500 - £34,000
