Senior Programme Manager Reading Friends, The Reading Agency

Reading Friends is an innovative reading befriending scheme delivered by national charity The Reading Agency and funded by The Big Lottery. We are looking for a confident and experienced programme manager to lead and strategically manage this exciting new phase, ensuring the support of key stakeholders and establishing a solid business model for the programme so that it is sustainable beyond 2020.

The programme is about to start the third year of a four year funded programme which will see us piloting the national programme across the UK, introducing new settings and communities of Reading Friends, including in prisons and LGBTQ focussed organisations and building intergenerational relationships.

This contract is for 2 years initially (with potential to renew subject to funding), offering a salary of up to £45,000 depending on experience.
