Do you want to help us transform lives through reading and writing? We are looking for an experienced project manager to lead our Sharing Sensory Stories programme for pupils with Additional Support Needs (ASN).

The Project Manager will develop resources for teachers and parents and project manage specific targeted activities, such as artist residencies and sensory storytelling workshops. The Project Manager will also manage a small grants scheme and plan, programme and deliver an annual Inclusive Stories Festival / Roadshow.

The post holder requires significant experience, knowledge and understanding of learning support and education policy in Scotland, as well as a strong background in project management. Additionally, it would be beneficial for the post holder to have experience working with children in an Additional Support Needs setting.

This role is part of Scottish Book Trust’s School Communities team and is funded for 3 years by Mohn Westlake.

Salary grade and range: Grade 4: £27,000 - £29,499
Hours/days per week: full time, 35 hours / 5 Days
Permanent contract
