Volunteers, Putting Pen to Paper
Deadline: Sun 28 Feb 2021
Now in its seventh year and funded by the National Lottery, this not-for-profit, creative writing organisation is looking for volunteers in the Alton area of Hampshire for its Saturday morning classes that take place during term-time only.

Working with children aged 7 to 11 and with Young Mentors from secondary school and college, volunteers are required to have an interest in writing, a wish to inspire and contribute to a fun, lively environment.

An attitude of flexibility might be required as well as a DBS certificate (the latter organised through pp2p).

For the next few months we are focusing on remote learning but anticipate being back to face-to-face contact at some point during 2021.
