Applications invited from writers and artists living or working in Barking & Dagenham and neighbouring boroughs of Redbridge, Newham and Havering for a five month residency (July-November 2020) at Rabbits Road Institute Library.
The Library is a community collection of over 200 books, ranging from social history and identity to economics and politics, and includes fiction, non-fiction and poetry soon to be housed at Company Drinks Pavilion, Barking Park, in the borough of Barking and Dagenham.
The residency invites the opportunity to creatively explore and respond to the Library through new writing.
Rabbits Road Institute Library is a project by The Alternative School of Economics. The residency is supported by: Arts Council England and Pen to Print.
Applications welcomed from underrepresented artists/writers.
£1500 fee plus £1000 production/printing
