Writing for Wellbeing Group
Thu 30 Nov 2017 to Thu 14 Jun 2018
Writing or keeping a journal is a way of bypassing the conscious mind to make discoveries about yourself and the world that you may previously have been unaware of.

These six evening sessions will be a mixture of writing and discussion. Specific topics and themes will be offered for writing and there will be opportunities for discussion in pairs and groups. How much or how little to share will be entirely up to you, and there will be no pressure to read out what you have written, unless you choose to do so.

We will look at methods to:
• Discover what is important to you
• Bypass your internal censor
• Build confidence and grow
• Learn what makes you tick
• Come to terms with events
• Find direction.
• Tap into your own resources

The course is aimed at anyone looking to get more from life, and who is prepared to explore and discover in a group situation.

Trainer Judi Goodwin comes from a background of journalism and broadcasting. She has run courses for HM Prison Styal, The Big Issue, Stockport Well Being Centre, Cheshire Without Abuse and Manchester University. She has previously worked with people with AIDS and HIV and with clients in recovery from drug and alcohol abuse. She is a qualified Life Coach and NLP Practitioner and has run training courses for over 30 years.
