CLPE Poetry Award: Announcement of shortlist

The CLPE Poetry Award, for a book of poetry for children, was launched for the first time by the Centre for Literacy in Primary Education in January 2003. It's good to see NAWE members on the shortlist.
The winner of the award will be announced at a ceremony at the Royal Festival Hall on June 11 th 2003.

The judges are Michael Rosen and Morag Styles, and the judging panel is chaired by Margaret Meek Spencer.

We are now happy to announce that the following books have been shortlisted for the award. The judges have approved the shortlist and will select the author or editor of one of these shortlisted books as the award winner.
