'yeh, write' workshops and awards
Thu 1 May 2003
Nineteen young writers have been shortlisted for these awards and will take part in workshops led by three NAWE writers at Cartwright Hall in Bradford on the day of the prizegiving.
The masterclass-type workshops cover four categories, as follows:

Short Fiction: workshop led by Martyn Bedford
Poetry: workshop led by Nick Toczek
Feature writing & Script writing: combined workshop led by Ray Brown.

Joanna Lumley will award the prizes at an evening ceremony held at the National Museum of Pholotography, Film and Television, in Bradford. All NAWE writers in the area have been invited to attend. If you have not received an invitation (because you live further afield) but would like to attend, please contact the NAWE office.

The competition was organized by Black Amber Books and Bradford 2008 in association with NAWE and Arts Council England (Yorkshire).
