Great Writing 2003! Creative Writing, Publishing, Reading.
Wed 23 Apr 2003
The deadline for paper proposals has technically passed but there are still a few slots available and proposals from NAWE members are especially welcome. (Papers: max. 20 minutes in length.)
This highly successful annual creative writing conference at Bangor - now in its 4th year - invites papers on any of the areas above, with a particular emphasis on the contemporary creative writing world.

Examples might be: creative writing on campus; the current state of literary publishing; reading practices in the contemporary world; creative writing pedagogy, 'alternative' publishing; USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Europe etc and new writing...

This year's conference will feature information on 'New Writing: the International Journal for the Practice and Theory of Creative Writing' (MLM publishers, UK/USA), discussions and the usual video conferenced links around the world, and papers/social evening and so on.

The conference will be at the UK Centre for Creative Writing Research through Practice, University of Wales Bangor. Booking details from the Centre or from NAWE.
