Project Manager appointed
Mon 8 May 2006
We are delighted to be appointing Liz Fincham as Project Manager for the Writers in Schools Research Programme, funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.
Liz is a writer, teacher and long-standing member of NAWE who has run a highly successful programme of writers' residencies in West Sussex. She will be taking up the post in June 2006 and will be liaising with schools and writers after that date.

In the meantime, schools are most welcome to lodge an expression of interest with Paul Munden. There will be a new, dedicated space for the project in the 'Writing in Schools' section of this website.

NAWE received nearly seventy applications for the post, and we would like to thank all those who applied. The next task is to appoint a researcher for the project and details of this post will be emailed to all NAWE members in due course, and advertised on this website. It is quite possible that further opportunities will arise in the near future, in which case they too will be advertised in the same way.
