Cut a Long Story
Tue 10 Sep 2013
This exciting short story publishing venture, in which NAWE is involved, will be launched at the NAWE Conference.
We're delighted so many writers have now registered with CUT (Cut a Long Story) and continue to do so each day. We are now over 500 strong.

CUT will be launched at the NAWE Conference in the Saturday morning plenary session, 16 November, 9am. (This session will also feature readings from Overheard: stories to read aloud, edited by Jonathan Taylor.)

A CUT Facebook page has been set up to keep everyone informed of how the project is progressing and our exciting launch later in the year.

Please take a moment to sign up to the Facebook page.

We have spent time on the project, as we have been seeking high standards in the quality of the finished e-stories and the user experience of the CUT site both for writers and readers.

Over the past few months we have perfected a means of publishing stories as e-books with exceptional adherence to the author's own formatting, although in an "e-story look". It ensures that they display correctly on all reputable e-reading devices and are available in both e-pub and mobi file formats, which cater for all reader requirements.

We have also designed a website that enables writers and readers to sell and buy stories with the greatest of ease. Those writers who have already submitted stories by invitation - for which we again thank you - will be the first to experience the site in a pre-live state. All other registered writers will soon be invited to submit their work pre-launch, through the web portal.

Do please visit the Facebook page for further updates - and help to spread the word. Twitter details will follow soon.

If you have not yet resistered as a writer with CUT, please do so here.
