Sharing the Work of Creative Writing A Level Students
Tue 14 Jan 2014
We are pleased to be publishing some early work by students at Priory Academy LSST in Lincoln.
Sarah Oliver, a NAWE member who is on the English teaching staff at the Priory Academy LSST in Lincoln, reports that the AQA A Level course has already proved very successful. "We have had visits from industry professionals and the students have set up their own webpage showcasing their work." Prompted by the selection of writing from Bilbrough College students already on the NAWE site, the 14 members of her class have all contributed their own creative work - a mix of poetry and prose - and we hope that this will lead to many other schools and colleges following suit.

Sarah is also writing an article based on her experience of teaching the new A Level for a future edition of the NAWE magazine.

The photo downloadable to the right here shows the whole class.
