Take the opportunity to connect with the new gallery’s opening exhibition, reflect upon the positive impact of a piece or the space using the process of writing. After discussion, the purpose and success of this new venture will spark fresh, original creative writing.
An invitation to join a group in experiencing the new gallery filled with unique art. By giving the opportunity to connect with this exhibition, reflection upon the positive impact of a piece or the space will take place using the process of writing.

After discussion, the purpose and success of this new venture will spark fresh, original creative writing. Fiona, the tutor, will encourage creativity in learners by engaging in various writing activities to capture the essence of life, art and activism. This is the theme of the gallery’s opening programme. She will model writing that raises awareness of disability and promotes inclusion.

The response to the theme might be in the form of a review of a favourite piece of art on display or a relevant contribution to the exhibition, in short prose. Frameworks will be supplied in worksheets to help generate the prose. Fiona will include her own response to the theme to inspire the learners. Editing of the prose will be encouraged. The learners will experience the challenge of an authentic writing deadline.
