Sky Arts, in association with IdeasTap is offering five young artists a £30,000 bursary each plus mentoring to fund their work and develop their talent for a full year. To provide professional guidance and advice on how to apply we're holding an event at Creative Scotland's offices in Edinburgh; the sessions will include a live Q&A with Stuart Murdoch from cult indie pop band Belle and Sebastian talking about his career and how he established himself as a working artist. This will be followed by a panel of Sky Arts and IdeasTap staff members answering your questions and providing top tips about applying for the fund. The afternoon will end with an opportunity to network – free drinks will be provided!
The session starts at 2pm and ends at 5pm.
