Litfest Coaching for Writers
Tue 11 Jan 2011 to Thu 31 Dec 2015
Litfest offers a confidential professional development service, either face to face or over the phone.
From a one-off session to a series, our coaching sessions offer the participant an opportunity for analysis, reflection and action on their work. With the support of our experienced coach, you get to where you want to be.

Each session will clarify ambitions and unpack skills and experiences, enabling you to achieve your potential. They also include practical goal setting: defining exciting and achievable targets for your professional life.

Who you would be working with

Sarah Hymas is the Publishing Development Manager for Litfest, a freelance facilitator, accredited coach (PCT), poet, performer and puppeteer. She has experience of working with many different groups of people and individuals, in settings as diverse as prisons, mental health day-care, schools, adult education, undergraduates and community settings.

How much it would cost

A one and half to two hour session would normally cost £170

However, Litfest are offering them at an organisational discount of 41% of £100 each (two hour) session.

We also have bursaries offering people with low incomes at 65% discount of £60 per (two hour session) session.

These times are flexible, and once we had our first session you may decide an hour long session is plenty for you (and your wallet).

If you would like to apply for one of the bursaries, you must demonstrate your financial need and explain the benefits you hope to obtain from the sessions.

To do this, send a covering letter and one supporting document evidencing your financial situation (this could be a letter from your employer, pay slip, proof of student status etc, do contact us if you have any questions on your documentation). The bursaries are offered on a first come first served basis.
