Submissions Guidelines
For full guidelines please refer to the document downloadable below. Please send articles, letters and news items by email,
with articles also as hard copy to the NAWE PO Box address. All
articles will be considered by the full editorial board who will also
take independent advice. Books for review should be sent directly to
the Reviews Editor. Reviews, as commissioned, should be sent by email
to the Reviews Editor, also as hard copy to the NAWE PO Box. NAWE
members wishing to review for Writing in Education are asked to contact
the Reviews Editor with a sample review and details of the kind of
publications which they wish to review. All contributors are asked to
include one or two sentences about themselves when submitting.
Publishers are reminded that Writing in Education does not normally
carry reviews of individual works of fiction or poetry except when
these have clearly resulted from a residency. NAWE members are reminded
to send news of their new publications as well as of any prizes and
awards to the office for featuring on our website and in the magazine,
space permitting.
Submission deadlines: Spring Issue: 14 February; Summer Issue: 31 May; Autumn Issue: 30 September
Please
note that the individual contributions to this journal do not
necessarily represent the views of NAWE or even the majority of its
members. We welcome responses to any of the articles and reviews
including those which would seem to offer contentious opinions.
Copyright
remains with individual contributing authors (with NAWE reserving the
right to reproduce materials in other NAWE publications and in the
members-only area of www.nawe.co.uk). We request that any other use of
the materials by the authors should make reference to the original
publication in Writing in Education.
