New Writers 1000-Word Short Story Competition 2024
Deadline: Tue 30 Apr 2024
Open to writers from around the world, we’re offering a top prize of £1,000, a second prize of £300 and a third prize of £200. The three winning entries will be published on the NewWriters.org.uk website and in the New Writers Anthology 2024.
Word Limit: 1,000 words (excluding title and line spaces)
Entry Fee: £10 (one entry), £19 (two entries), £27 (three entries). £1 from each entry will be donated to First Story (England’s leading creative writing charity for young people). Limited number of free entries available to people from low income households.
