This Spring Invererne will open its doors to theatre writers, directors and devisors to spend a week together. A week to learn, create and be inspired artistically
You are invited to live, dream and create on land that will change.
This Spring Invererne will open its doors to theatre writers, directors and devisors to spend a week together. A week to learn, create and be inspired artistically.
The theme for this retreat is drawn from the land it will take place on. Invererne and its surroundings face a changing environment; the house sits on a floodplain close to the river Findhorn and the North Sea. Flood defences are being erected. Invererne is on the wrong side of these defences.
With this present in your mind; what might it be like to make this floodplain your temporary home? What kind of art might emerge from such a place? What kind of dreams might find you?
Invererne is a space to . . .
- Develop a creative idea
- Relax and nourish yourself as an artist
- Be closer to nature
- Live with other artists
- Share your skills and learn new ones
