A translation workshop for poets; a writing workshop for translators
Working in a number of translation modes, we’ll play with and stretch language to explore the possibilities for poetry in and through translation.
The workshop is suitable for those with good working knowledge of English; another language is welcome but not necessary. Participants may be asked to bring a sample of a poem or translation of poetry on which they are currently working.
This three-hour masterclass will be led by Hilary Kaplan. Hilary will also be taking part in Twisted Angels at the Brighton Festival 2014.
