Introductory Workshop Day in Creative Writing for Therapeutic Purposes

The Metanoia Institute is offering a one day introductory workshop in Creative Writing for Therapeutic Purposes. Open to writers who are interested in supporting others to write, and practitioners in the healthcare or caring professions who are curious about bringing writing into their practice.

Participants will be invited to engage in creative writing exercises, explore the personal and professional qualities involved in the field and respond to their experience in plenary sessions with peers and tutors.

Information will also be provided to contextualise the field of Creative Writing for Therapeutic Purposes and how it is developing within national arts and health directives.

Date: Saturday 19 May 2018, 11am – 5pm
Location: Engineers House in Bristol
Cost: £75.
