Mouthy Poets Spoken Word Masterclass with Deborah 'Debris' Stevenson
Sat 7 Feb 2015 to Sat 7 Feb 2015
You will have the opportunity to write, learn techniques for generating and developing ideas and explore new ways of performing your material
You don't have to consider yourself a poet to come along. A space to try and share new things, you'll get an idea of the Mouthy ethos and what makes us different from other spoken word poetry collectives.

Deborah 'Debris' Stevenson founded Mouthy Poets in Nottingham in 2010. She is passionate about giving young people a platform for their writing and their voices, as well as personal and professional development opportunities. As a dyslexic writer one of her goals is to empower people through innovative thinking and creativity.

She is a Jerwood Arvon mentee, an associate artist at Leicester Curve and co-leads the Roundhouse Poetry Collective in London. Her first poetry collection, Pigeon Party, was published by Flipped Eye in 2014.
