Spoken Word Workshop with Dean Atta

Apples and Snakes and New Writing South present… Dean Atta. Dean leads a beginners workshop for all wanting to take the first steps to performing their poetry live on stage. Participants in this afternoon workshop will have the opportunity to share in the evening open mic at 7pm.
There will be some writing exercises but you will mostly work on performance skills. Therefore, you can write a new poem in this workshop or come with a poem you have already written and want to take to the stage.
