The Money is an annual conference about how cultural funding and revenue is changing
The Money is an annual conference about how cultural funding and revenue is changing, and how attracting and developing creative relationships with money – from commercial brands and public institutions to new forms of crowd and audience funding – is a fundamental skill for making culture today.
After 5 fantastic years of running
The Story, Storythings is very pleased to announce a new event – The Money. This is a new companion event to
The Story, focusing on emerging hybrid funding and revenue models for culture, and featuring personal experiences and testimonies from some of the most innovative and inspirational cultural entrepreneurs in the UK and beyond.
The Money, like The Story, will not be about corporate pitches or funder presentations. It will instead be about honest and open accounts of what it feels like to earn a living making culture now, and how building an audience, raising money and making the work are all inextricably part of the same creative process.
