Training for Applied Arts Practitioners & Teachers
Sat 4 Jun 2016 to Sat 4 Jun 2016
Rewrite has developed a CPD programme specifically for EAL co-ordinators and Applied Theatre practitioners over the last two years

Our Creative ESOL methodology offers an innovative, practical and creative approach to language acquisition which sets it apart from other EAL / ESOL training available. It’s suitable for anyone working with children and young people who have English as an additional language. We are offering a day training at Ovalhouse in London on Saturday 4th June 2016.

This training day is a beginner's workshop where Rewrite will share their innovative practice on language learning through drama and the arts. The event is suitable for anyone involved in teaching or arts facilitation with young people or adults

Outcomes:

  • An understanding of the organising principles behind the Creative ESOL model
  • A practical workshop experience providing a ‘toolbox’ of activities to teach language through drama, play and the arts
  • Greater confidence to implement aspects of the model appropriate to your context

The day will include time to discuss how you can apply the Creative ESOL principles to your teaching or arts facilitation practice and to think through individual lesson plans with our experienced Creative ESOL practitioners.
