Write for Life
Sat 28 Jul 2012 to Sat 4 Aug 2012
Do you want time to reflect, write and enjoy the sun?

Aimed at freeing the writer's voice, we will use methods of raw and stream-of-consciousness writing to tune into whatever is alive in the moment; themes, images, characters, sense and nonsense. You might not realize what you want to write until it pours

onto paper. Techniques and frameworks to delve deeper will also be provided.

There will be a balance between private writing – engaging with solitary inner space and group random work together, swapping phrases and fragments to feed each other’s writing. Morning sessions will focus mainly on developing personal writing practice, with the group supporting each individual to play with new perspectives, and afternoons for group writing activities, creating together.

Supporting activities include music, role play, guided visualisation and physical movement - and how these writing techniques can be applied as a daily life practice.

Course Leader
