Curry Mallet Children's Short Story Competition 2014

After the success of our inaugural children’s competitions in 2013, we have decided to make these an annual event

We are offering you the opportunity to enter this £35 first prize short story competition to be judged by bestselling children’s author, Beth Webb. She will also let the creators of the top two winning stories know why she has chosen them.  

Calling all children aged 11 and under – Make up a story with the title: ‘There Are Dragons Everywhere’.

Calling all children aged 12 to 16 – make up a story in any genre about the First World War.

We are so thrilled and honoured that Somerset based Beth, author of the teen books Star Dancer Quartet and numerous other children’s books has agreed to be our judge.

Prizes are: 1st prize £35, 2nd prize £5 book token.

We are also very keen to receive group entries from schools.
