The Nottingham City of Literature board is delighted to announce that we have secured funding for the appointment of our first director
Our bid partners at Nottingham City Council, The University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University are contributing equally to a substantial, three-year arrangement.
The Director will be responsible for overseeing the development of Nottingham as a UNESCO City of Literature, liaising with other Creative Network cities around the world and working closely with our partners and other agencies in the city.
They will be expected to retain the spirit of inclusiveness that characterised Nottingham’s grass-roots based UNESCO bid.
