The School runs a high profile Writers-in-Residence programme, which brings award-winning authors such as Lionel Shriver, Owen Sheers, Philip Marsden and Louis de Bernières to the University for creative workshops, lectures and public events. Simon Armitage is a Visiting Professor of Writing here. Our journalism students also have access to print and radio newsrooms, video editing and digital production suites.
