This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong leadership and management skills and a passion for literature to lead a National Portfolio Organisation that has in recent years grown significantly in ambition and reputation
The Director’s role is to lead and support an excellent staff team, manage relationships with key stakeholders and provide strategic direction for the organisation. The successful candidate will have substantial experience at a senior level in an arts organisation and will be able to demonstrate financial management and fundraising skills.
Spread the Word has a distinctively friendly and accessible ethos, while providing excellence in artistic activity, talent development and other support for London’s writers. This hands-on role will be immensely rewarding for someone who wants to be part of a genuinely passionate and highly productive team and who would relish the opportunity to further develop a thriving and dynamic organisation.
