Red Table is a small ambitious theatre company who are pioneering in using ‘Open Book Management’ in profit-share fringe theatre, to pursue ‘open, honest and ethical’ practices.

Last August we took our show ‘Just So Stories’ to Edinburgh, paid everybody’s travel and accommodation, provided some subsistence money and managed to make a small profit for the profit-share pot. Our family show was awarded three five stars reviews.

We are now looking for submissions for either this year’s Edinburgh Festival or an autumn production. Unlike the show we produced last year, we are looking for a production which is not aimed at young children, but more mature audiences. 

We tend to use a maximum of four actors, though they can play multiple parts, and we are keen to consider any type of genre or medium.

The piece could be new writing, or an adaptation of an existing piece, provided that there are no copyright constraints in existence.
