Hard working education specialist required with knowledge of formal curriculum, informal learning, community participation and young people consultation, with a passion for creative participative learning inspired by the arts, and ideally heritage.

Hoxton Hall is a visionary participatory arts charity looking for an experienced co-ordinator with an education background, to deliver a new learning and participation programme which brings together community, creativity, young people and Hoxton Hall’s history. The role also entails fostering and managing existing relationships with local schools and colleges and coordinating Hoxton Hall’s team of volunteers.

The Education and Heritage Co-ordinator position will focus on 3 specific strategic aims:

  • To improve local people's sense of place and community by engaging with Hoxton Hall and its history.
  • Improve and maintain Hoxton Hall's built environment, by safeguarding and sharing the benefits of our 150 year old grade II* listed building and its associated history.
  • Broaden our reach within the community by engaging with formal education providers in Hackney and Islington.
