Successful applicants will take centre stage on an exciting project running across the East and West Midlands that will have a strong National profile.

TMC has successfully bid for Spirit of 2012 funds to deliver a series of community based festivals across the Midlands over the next three years (2016 - 2019).

We are looking to employ four artists to work on these groundbreaking Community Arts Festivals in the first year. You can also apply as a company, using your diverse skills to provide a real impact.

The Arts Festivals will take place in four distinct places across the Midlands: Corby, East Lindsey, Tamworth and Wolverhampton. Four artists (or companies) will come on board, one in each of these locations and will work with two groups of young people to plan and create an Arts Festival linked to Shakespeare – his life, his work, his themes, his impact.

The role will include training and development opportunities for successful applicants; there will also be the opportunity to develop your own work and you will have a long term impact on the levels of creativity within the groups that you work with.

Artists / companies will be paid £15,000 each, based on an approximate workload of 100 days paid at £150 per day.
