From the Ashes – drama and creative writing commission
Deadline: Fri 16 Feb 2018
bait is looking for a creative company, or individuals, to work collaboratively with people from South East Northumberland to create a new piece of audio theatre; a community radio soap opera or series of short radio plays to be broadcast on Koast Radio, based in Ashington.
The participants will work with the creative team to develop characters, devise storylines and write scripts.

We will consider two types of application for this commission:
• Joint applications from, for example, a theatre company and writer, outlining how you plan to work collaboratively on this project, and accommodate both drama and creative writing within the process.
• Solo applications from writers and drama facilitators, who, if successful, will form part of a bespoke team that we develop for this project.

bait's mission is to create long-term increase in levels of arts engagement, driven by the creativity and ambition of people living in South East Northumberland.
