Hull Truck Theatre are seeking a Head of Learning and Engagement to lead, drive, develop and deliver Hull Truck Theatre's Engage Programme
We are seeking a Head of Learning and Engagement to lead, drive, develop and deliver Hull Truck Theatre's Engage Programme through Creative Learning and Participation Projects ensuring they are linked to Hull Truck Theatre's Artistic Programme and accessible to all sectors of the community.
We are seeking someone with the following attributes:
Knowledge and experience of the management and strategic development of creative learning programmes in a theatre setting
Experience of working with young people in a theatre making context
Experience of theatre making to an excellent standard for public audiences
Experience of working as a creative facilitator in formal, informal and community educational settings
Knowledge and understanding of contemporary theatre practice
Knowledge and understanding of current cultural learning landscape and education priorities
Knowledge and understanding of legislation and Safeguarding young people and vulnerable adults in a theatre participation context
Experience of project management and evaluation
Experience of successful partnership building and working
High level organisational ability
Experience of managing departmental and project budgets Experience of stakeholder management
Self motivated with ability to take initiative and leadership role
Excellent communication skills and demonstrable ability to flow relevant information to create mutual understanding
A pro-active and positive approach to solving problems in a prompt and independent manner
Ability to motive and organise team members A passionate interest in theatre and creative learning A commitment to furthering the aims of Hull Truck Theatre
