Lecturer in Creative Writing and English Literature

York St John University is a high quality, friendly university with a campus based in the centre of the historic City of York

The Faculty of Arts at York St John University are looking to appoint a specialist in Creative Writing to join our vibrant and growing English Literature and Creative Writing undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

You will be a published writer and/or hold a PhD (or near completion). A specialism in prose-fiction or creative non-fiction is desirable, though you will be required to teach across a variety of genres and forms on both literature and creative writing modules.

You will provide students at all levels with practical skills, inspiration and guidance. You will also contribute to our dynamic literary community, as well as our literature events series and annual anthology.
