This is a new role, created on a part-time fixed-term basis to support the teaching of seminar groups in the School’s undergraduate curriculum in Creative Writing as well as offering an exciting opportunity to play an active role in the Centre for Creative Writing.
As Lecturer in Creative Writing (Teaching and Scholarship) you will teach and convene undergraduate modules in Creative Writing and play a full and active role in the Centre for Creative Writing. You may also be required to teach postgraduate modules in Creative Writing and to supervise MA dissertations.
To be successful in this role you will need proven experience of successful teaching in Creative Writing at undergraduate level in two or more of the following forms: fiction, creative non-fiction, and poetry. You will have an emerging record of excellence in literary work and publication and evidence of on-going research projects.
