Lecturer in English Literature and Creative Writing, University of Chester

The undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the English Department at the University of Chester are well established. Since September 2015 the University Centre at Shrewsbury has been growing its new programme. We invite applications for a full-time permanent lectureship tenable from 1st August 2018 based at our Shrewsbury campus.
Applicants should have a doctorate in an appropriate specialism, a developing record of publications in literary criticism, and/or poetry and/or fiction, and recent, relevant teaching experience in higher education.

Applicants should be able to teach a range of core and specialist modules in English Literature and Creative Writing at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. An ability to teach Young Adult and Children’s literature would be advantageous.
