Lecturership in Creative Writing (Script)

The School of English Literature, Language & Linguistics at Newcastle University wishes to appoint a Lecturer in Creative Writing with a focus on script

An engagement with contemporary theatre studies would be would be a clear advantage, while an interest in screenwriting would also be of value.

Building on our success at REF2014, we are looking for candidates who can deliver research and teaching of the highest quality. A strong publication record is therefore essential; excellent research plans equally so. Beyond that, the successful candidate will have the experience and qualities needed to provide excellent teaching to both undergraduates and postgraduates and to make a dynamic contribution to the culture and management of the school.
